You will need Adobe Reader installed on your computer to be able to open these patterns. You may already have it on your computer but if not, click to get this free software.
Immediately after you click to place your order you will see a confirmation screen with a blue "download now" button for each pattern that you ordered. Click those buttons and the files are downloaded to your computer. You can save them and print them out on your own printer.
You will also receive a confirmation email. In that email there is a sentence that says: "You can always find out the current status of your order by going to..." followed by a link. Click the link. If you didn't click the blue button(s) on the screen that appeared when you placed your order, you can always get back to them from the link in the confirmation email. Save this email.
If you click the link in the email, you may be asked to input the credit card number that you used when you placed your order. You will not be charged again, this is to verify that you are you. After you enter the number you will be taken back to the screen with the blue download buttons. Click the button to download the pattern.
Be sure to save the pdf file to your computer after you download it. Note that this pattern is for your personal use; please don't share it with your friends.
There are a lot of different computers and printers out there. One of the issues with downloadable patterns is that we cannot control or predict how your computer and your printer will handle these files. It's a good idea to purchase and download one pattern to see how it's going to work for you.
Be sure that your printer is set to print at actual size before you print the patterns (NOT fit to print; NOT scale to fit page).
It also helps to set your printer to print edge-to-edge (borderless) or with small margins. On my computer I click the page setup button in the printer dialog box and then choose to print letter size, borderless.
If you have any problems, email me (Becky). I will certainly try to help you.
SHIPPING NOTE: There is no shipping charge for the PDF patterns. On the first page that you fill out when you begin the checkout process, it will ask you what shipping method you prefer. If you have ordered anything else from the site that has to be shipped, be sure that you check your preferred method. If you only ordered the PDF patterns just leave it "priority"—you will not be charged shipping.
We hope that you enjoy having these patterns available again! We will be adding more of our out-of-print patterns to the website as time permits.
