About International Shipping
Unfortunately, shipping rates have gone up as of 01/17/16 and international shipping has been especially hard hit.
We do not make money on shipping. We only charge you what it costs us to ship to you, and sometimes we don't even charge that.
Lorna has been shipping international packages via Priority Mail because it is the fastest and most reliable service. But Priority Mail rates are very high now and we know that many of you will not want to pay for this service.
If you would like us to ship your order via First Class instead, we are absolutely willing to do that. Lorna can lower your shipping cost before she processes your payment. It is significantly cheaper in most cases. Contact me (email email@example.com) before you place your order, to let me know that you are opting for the cheaper and slower First Class shipping, and we can inform you of the new cost. That cost won't show up when you check out, but we will manually change it before we process your credit card.
Be aware that First Class mail is a lot slower and we cannot give you any idea of the time frame for how long it will take your order to get to you. It can take weeks, sometimes months, for a package to get to you.
Once a package leaves the US, we can no longer track it. It's in the hands of the destination country and their customs. Because of this, we will not ship a replacement for lost packages until 6 weeks past the shipping date on Priority Mail packages, and 12 weeks past the shipping date on First Class packages.
