6" Tula Pink Scissor
Tula Pink's scissors are really pretty and they cut fabric very well. When you want a longer scissor, this is an excellent choice.
This is the longest scissor that I use for cutting applique and/or hexies for English paper piecing. (I forgot to mention in the video that this is fast becoming the only scissor I'll be using to cut hexies.) What's nice about it is that the longer blade makes a long, precise cut. I found that I moved the scissor less often which creates a nice cutting rhythm.
This scissor is a little bit heavier than a scissor with a plastic grip, but they are well-balanced and do not make my hand tired.
Here's what it says on the package:
These 6" straight sharp point scissors have razor sharp blades that create an even cut along the entire length of the blade. Great or trimming fabric edges and threads closely, accurately, and quickly. Also for use in trimming fabrics, stabilizer, applique, and all needle arts and crafts.
