These 8"-long metal rods are substantial and won't bend in your hand. One rod is thicker than the other. Each rod comes to a blunt point, one is pointier than the other. The thick rod has a forked end, the thin rod has a flattened angle. The rods can be used together, or separately, depending on the job at hand.
These wonderful tools are are great when feeding fabric under the presser foot as you sew on the machine. They are sturdy enough to easily to hold and control the fabric as you sew. I also use the rods to loosen the papers after foundation paper piecing.
These rods are especially nice when paired with Ergonomic Tweezers.
