These size 12 applique needles are easy to thread and, while fine, fit most hands. They are more rigid than the applique needles made by Tulip. They will bend under extreme pressure but they are not likely to snap, the way a Black-Gold needle might.

Sharp needles are not as long as milliners (or straw) needles.
