This wonderful pencil sharpener creates a perfect point using a two-step sharpening process. Sharpen the wood in the first step and then sharpen the graphite core to a long, fine point in step 2. The clear lid opens for cleaning. The sharpener comes with two replacement blades and an automatic brake that prevents over-sharpening.

It works equally well on the General's charcoal pencils and on colored pencils although I personally would not sharpen them all the way to a pointy point.
