These rotary cutters are different from any I've tried before.
The handles are heavy which makes cutting easier because the weight of the cutter helps you cut through layers. The comfortable, non-slip grip truly works for both right- and left-handers. There is an easy, magnetic blade changing system that feels safer than my other cutters.
There are 3 sizes: 28mm, 45mm, and 60mm. I need all 3, and you might find you do, too. Here's why:
The 45mm is the middle size and perfect for cutting 2-4 thicknesses of fabric. I use it most of the time when cutting steps and other shapes.
Use the 60mm cutter when cutting many layers of fabric. It makes a noticeable difference.
The 28mm is new from Quilter's Select, and it's perfect for small and precise cutting. See video below.
My favorite feature is how easy it is to open and close the guards on these cutters. It takes a little practice but once you've got it, you'll wish every cutter worked this way.
