I use it to fuse felted wool applique shapes to fabric because it holds the wool in place without pins and helps to keep the raw edges from fraying. Wonder Fuse is paper backed and similar in weight to SoftFuse. Since SoftFuse is out of stock everywhere, this is the current best choice.
