Welcome to Buttonwood Village, my cheerful 10-month applique Block of the Month for 2026. (The whole year's complete set of ePatterns are included in this one time $48 cost.)

The center of the quilt has nine whimsical blocks—colorful little houses tucked under big, happy flowers and trees, accented with a touch of embroidery. The border blocks offer a fresh, modern twist on traditional applique. I’ll be using needleturn applique, but you can use any applique method you love.

And you’ve got options! You can make the full 60" x 60" quilt, or turn the center and border blocks into two separate quilts. No pressure to decide now—just sew and enjoy.

The blocks will be released monthly, beginning February 23, 2026. My quilt is currently under construction—I’ll be stitching much of this quilt right along with you, which always makes the journey more fun. 

The digital pattern includes:

If you’d like to stitch along with me and get real-time guidance, you can join the Buttonwood Village Meetup. This is a monthly Zoom get-together hosted through Creative Spark. There will be ten 60-minute sessions, held on the fourth Tuesday of each month (3rd Tuesday in November) at 1:00 pm Pacific Time. Can’t make it live?
