Wool appliqué is beautiful and surprisingly fast and easy to sew. Felted wool is thick and fuzzy and there aren't seam allowances to turn under! The notions used in wool appliqué are a little different from what you would use in needle turn hand appliqué which is why we put together these sets of notions specifically for wool hand appliqué. 

Basic set:

• Wonder Fuse — fusing wool is easier than pinning and the fusible helps to stop the edges from fraying
• Goddess Pressing Sheet — to protect your iron and surface from fusible web
• Bohin Size 9 Crewel Needles — I use this needle most of the time with wool thread
• John James Size 24 Chenille Needles — bigger without being too big, easier to thread
• John James Size 26 Chenille Needles — the smallest chenille needle, it is a nice needle to have in case the other two aren't threadable
• Colonial 2-in-1 Threader — a very nice wire threader with two sizes of wires
• Havel 6" Serrated Scissors — a great scissor for cutting felted wool. These scissors also have a bigger grip, which is nice for people with bigger hands

Complete Set:

• Everything in the Basic Set +
• Karen Kay Buckley Perfect Pins — these pins are very fine and very flexible, they are not exactly easy to use, but they are worth the effort with wool because they don't distort the wool when in place
• Ellana Wool Thread Rainbow Set — wool thread snuggles into the fuzziness of the fabric and hides, I love it! Find more wool threads and colors here

Ultimate Set:

• Everything in the Basic and Complete Sets +
• Kai 5-1/2" Embroidery Scissors — use them for fabric, but I mostly use mine with paper
• Kai 6" Professional Scissors — made from carbon steel that stays sharp a long time, these scissors feel amazing in your hand and are my very favorite scissor

Not included, but you may want, Clear Vinyl, Sharpie, Card Stock (like EPP Specialty Paper), Laminating Sheets.
